On the move again!

5th February 2020 - E-mail update

Dear friends,

Hope this finds you all well

Two and half weeks have flown by in Lesvos. Tomorrow we will be heading to our final destination - Cyprus!

Like the dampness of winter, there was a dampening of the spirit In the first couple of weeks in Greece - a subtle robbing of joy, intimacy and peace. But after our worship and prayer burn a few days ago, we have felt a significant shift in the spirit - a renewal of joy, strength and peace. We are reminded of God’s faithfulness to keep His covenant promises throughout all generations.

Highlights for the team have been street evangelism (there has been newfound unity and authority in our team :)) as well as catching God’s heart for people of the island, especially the marginalised, the refugee and those without hope.

We also got to see some flamingos on our day off!

A few days ago, we saw many people selling daffodils on the streets. It seemed to point to the season we are in as a global Body - winter is now past and spring is beginning!

Song of Songs 2:10-13

This morning we awoke to dark storm clouds on the horizon.

As the winds whipped up huge waves around us, Zechariah 10:1 came to mind: ‘Ask the Lord for rain in the springtime; it is the Lord Who makes the storm clouds’.

God is on the move!! He is preparing His bride for the days of the latter (spring) rain - the great outpouring of His Spirit that will usher in a great harvest of souls!

Thank you so much for your continued prayers for us. Please pray for journey mercies tomorrow; and that we would finish well in Cyprus!

Blessings,

The EPIC DTS team

Greetings friends! Hope this finds you well! It’s been a while since we have been in touch, but “beneath the surface” God has been doing a deep work - clearing out obstacles and ensuring no stone is l

2020 has certainly been a year to remember! Perhaps you entered into it with high hopes and expectations, but 11 months down the line are left with a feeling of loss, disappointment, disillusionment.
